Summary
In June 2010, Sen. Lisa Murkowski tried to use the Congressional Review Act to wipe out EPA's 2009 Endangerment Finding — the judgment that greenhouse gases endanger public health, and the on-ramp for federal climate rules. The motion to even take it up failed 47–53. Every Republican who voted, voted yes. Both independents voted no. The finding survived. The party split did not.
