Donald Trump — Oct 3, 2024

← Findings

At an Oct. 3, 2024 rally in Saginaw, MI, Trump falsely claimed: "Kamala spent all her FEMA money, billions of dollars, on housing for illegal migrants," and that the administration "stole the FEMA money." At an Oct. 5 rally in Butler, PA he amplified the false claim that victims were being offered "only $750." FEMA, DHS, and independent fact-checkers debunked both claims: disaster-relief funds are legally separate from the migrant Shelter and Services Program, and the $750 is one upfront Serious Needs payment, not total aid.
