Statement record

Marjorie Taylor Greene — Oct 3, 2024

U.S. Representative (R-GA-14) · Oct 3, 2024

On Oct. 3, 2024, Greene posted on X: "Yes they can control the weather. It's ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can't be done." Earlier that day she posted a map of Helene-affected areas overlaid with party lean, implying the storm's devastation was targeted. Meteorologists and fact-checkers rejected the weather-modification conspiracy.
